For everyone!

Start/Restart Computer
The power button is on the back of the left side of the monitor.  Hold it down to restart.
Logging In
After first starting up the computer, click on the Stonechurch user.  Enter the correct password.
Accessing OSCAR
Double-click the OSCAR icon on the desktop.  You can also click on the orange Firefox symbol in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, or the Home icon (picture of a house) if Firefox is already open
Resizing Text
If you want to make the text in an internet browser larger or smaller, select View > Text Size > Increase or Decrease.  The keyboard shortcuts are Apple + and Apple -.
Resizing Browser Windows
Click and hold down the lower right corner of the browser window you would like to resize, then drag the corner to make the window the desired size.
Moving Browser Windows
To move the entire window, click and hold down the top grey title bar, then drag the window to the desired location.
Maximizing, Minimizing and Closing Browser Windows
Click one of the three buttons on the upper left corner of a browser or program window:
Red- Closes the window entirely
Yellow- Minimizes the window.  Click on the window's image next to the trash can in the toolbar to recover it
Green- Maximizes the window.  On an i-Mac, maximizing the window will not make it fill the whole screen, just a large part of it
 Navigating Between Windows
If you have several individual windows open and would like to change from one to another, move your mouse to the lower left corner of your screen.  All the windows should now appear in smaller form.  Click on the window you would like to view.
Using Firefox Tabs to Simplify Internet Browsing
If you need to have several internet websites open at once, you can keep them all in one browser window using the Tab function in Firefox.
 Security Screensaver
Whenever you leave the computer on its own, even for a short period of time, you should put on the password-protected screensaver to ensure the security of the patients' files.  You can either move your mouse to the upper left corner of the screen and leave it there until the screensaver comes up OR you can click the blue rectangular icon from the toolbar.
